Welcome to GoFindTech. These Terms of Service explain how our appliance technician marketplace works and what you agree to when you use our website in the United States.

1. Agreement to These Terms

By accessing or using https://gofindtech.com (the “Site”) or submitting a service request through our online form (the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Site or Service.

2. Who We Are

GoFindTech (“GoFindTech,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) operates an online platform that helps homeowners connect with independent appliance repair technicians (“Technicians”). We currently focus on the Greater Austin, Texas area and nearby suburbs.

GoFindTech is a marketplace. We are not a licensed contractor or appliance repair company, and we do not personally perform repairs. All appliance repair work is performed by independent Technicians or technician businesses.

3. Eligibility

You may use the Service only if you:

• Are at least 18 years old; and
• Have the legal authority to enter into a binding agreement; and
• Are requesting service for a property that you own, lease, or are otherwise authorized to access.

4. How the Service Works

Through our multi-step request form (wizard), you can:

• Tell us what appliance you have and what issue you are experiencing;
• Provide your location, contact information, and preferred time window;
• See a clear diagnostic price (for example, from $79 down to $39 as you complete steps);
• Be matched with one verified, independent Technician for your request.

We may change, improve, or discontinue parts of the Service at any time, with or without notice, as we develop the platform.

5. Relationship with Technicians

Technicians are independent contractors and not employees, partners, or agents of GoFindTech. We do not control how they perform their work and we do not supervise them on-site.

Any agreement for repair, parts, pricing adjustments, or additional services is between you and the Technician (or the Technician’s business). GoFindTech is not a party to that agreement.

We may surface information about typical diagnostic pricing, discounts, or a 90-day warranty policy, but the actual warranty and service terms are ultimately set and honored by the Technician or their company.

6. Pricing, Payments, and Estimates

Our goal is transparent diagnostic pricing. The Site may show a diagnostic fee (for example, starting at $79 and decreasing to $39 as you complete all steps). This fee is intended as a clear, up-front estimate for the visit to diagnose the issue.

Unless we clearly state otherwise, payments for diagnostic visits and repairs are handled directly between you and the Technician. GoFindTech may pass along pricing information and estimates or help coordinate, but we are not responsible for:

• Collecting or holding your payments, or
• Ensuring that a Technician accepts any specific discount or applies the diagnostic fee to the repair.

Any final price for parts and labor is set by the Technician after they inspect your appliance and may differ from preliminary estimates.

7. Your Responsibilities

When you use the Service, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information in the request form;
• Respond to calls, texts, or emails from GoFindTech or the assigned Technician;
• Ensure safe access to the appliance and the property (for example, keep pets secure and disclose any known hazards);
• Comply with all applicable laws and regulations related to your use of the Service;
• Pay the Technician for services rendered according to your agreement with them.

8. Communications: Calls, Texts, and Emails

By submitting a service request and checking the consent box, you authorize us and/or your assigned Technician to contact you by phone, SMS/text, and email about your request, including confirmations, updates, and follow-ups. Message and data rates may apply.

You can opt out of non-essential text messages by replying “STOP” to a message from us. Even if you opt out, we may still send you important transactional messages where allowed by law (such as appointment confirmations).

9. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to use the Site or Service to:

• Engage in any fraudulent, unlawful, or abusive activity;
• Misrepresent your identity or your right to request service;
• Submit false, misleading, or incomplete information about your appliance or property;
• Interfere with or disrupt the Site, Service, or related systems;
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Site or any user data.

10. No Emergency Services

GoFindTech is not an emergency-response service. Do not use the Service for situations involving immediate risk to life, health, or property (for example, active gas leaks, electrical fires, or major flooding).

In an emergency, call 911 or your local emergency number, and contact appropriate utility providers or licensed emergency services.

11. Intellectual Property

The GoFindTech name, logo, Site design, text, graphics, and other content are owned by or licensed to GoFindTech and protected by intellectual property laws. You may use the Site only for personal, non-commercial purposes connected with requesting appliance repair services.

You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any part of the Site without our prior written consent, except as allowed by applicable law.

12. Warranty Disclaimer

THE SITE AND SERVICE ARE PROVIDED ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, GOFINDTECH DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT THE SITE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE, OR THAT ANY DEFECTS WILL BE CORRECTED. WE DO NOT WARRANT OR GUARANTEE THE QUALITY, SAFETY, OR OUTCOME OF ANY WORK PERFORMED BY TECHNICIANS.

13. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, GOFINDTECH AND ITS OWNERS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUE, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH:

• Your access to or use of (or inability to access or use) the Site or Service;
• Any conduct or content of any third party, including Technicians;
• Any work performed, damage caused, or omissions by Technicians;
• Unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or data.

In no event will GoFindTech’s total liability for all claims relating to the Service exceed the greater of: (a) the amount you paid (if any) directly to GoFindTech for the Service in the six (6) months before the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) one hundred U.S. dollars (US$100).

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless GoFindTech and its owners, officers, employees, and agents from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to:

• Your use of the Site or Service;
• Your violation of these Terms; or
• Your interactions and agreements with Technicians.

15. Governing Law and Venue

These Terms and any dispute arising out of or relating to them or the Service will be governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of law rules.

Any legal action or proceeding arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Travis County, Texas, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction and venue of such courts.

16. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time as we improve and expand the Service. When we do, we will change the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. If we make material changes, we may also provide additional notice (for example, a notice on the Site).

By continuing to use the Site or Service after changes become effective, you agree to the updated Terms.
